The @NASCAR media, in general, has reduced Dystany Spurlock to a diversity headline instead of telling her actual story. She’s an @NHRA crossover with broader motorsports ambitions. A journalist should cover the competitor, the goals, the talent, and the results first. The feel-good angle comes after that...and shouldn't be forgotten. Their absolute gimmick-only coverage is insulting to her, and their lack of mentioning the NHRA has become commonplace.

@EricCliett Ryder service managers get bonuses for how much money they save…. In other words, how much service they don’t spend money on. Or so I was told by a Ryder mechanic, when I was a Ryder driver and complained about the lack of repairs.

Ryder is the issue, they don't wanna spend $1800 on a DPF filter, for a rental that has 685k miles on it..
