This👇 is an important point. Focussing solely on population growth numbers is misguided. We need to focus on the outflows (brain drain) as well as inflows, and on human capital. Canada’s immigration system used to be a “high human capital model,” which was the secret to its success. We emphasized advanced education, relevant work experience, official language proficiency, etc. During the Trudeau years our immigration system was turned on its head into one that privileges people with low levels of human capital. Add to that the departure of many of our brightest young people for greener pastures. It all adds up to a real long term problem that will deepen our decline in productivity and prosperity.

The Slovak government cannot accept the unilateral and harmful step taken by the Ukrainian president to halt the transit of oil and expects EU institutions to exert pressure on the Ukrainian leadership to restore the flow of Russian oil, which we are entitled to receive until the end of 2027. I emphasized to the President of the European Council that EU institutions cannot prioritize the interests of a non-EU country, Ukraine, over those of EU member states. He testified to health committee that the B.C. government asked him to DESTROY his published RCT data after he delivered a briefing related to the addiction and homelessness crisis that the bureaucrats didn’t like. JAW DROPPING Health Canada caught funding "booty bumping" kits with your tax dollars. Nearly $3 million tax dollars went to a Toronto organization in the name of "harm reduction". One of the funded services was kits to help people insert hard drugs through their rear end. When I asked Health Canada officials about it at committee, they were clueless. Drug enablement policies have become so insane that the officials handing out the money don't even know what they're funding. This is not harm reduction. This is the government writing blank cheques for hard drug use while Canadians are dying.
