Why would any one buy the other end of a Cash Secured Put? You’re basically betting on the share price going down, and never recovering again. Like ever. Who are the suckers buying the CSPs that FinX sells? What am I missing? I’ve never done puts so sorry for my dumb question.

My account is under $10,000… When it comes to selling cash secured puts, I’m not a fan of that much money being locked up. I could use that money to buy my favorite stocks right now. What’s your thoughts on this?
