I'm in Comcast. I like that even though the bulk of the business is in cable lines, they also have parks and studios, Peacock, etc. Is today disheartening after it pumped yesterday? Sure. Does it really matter? Not much. They're a cash flow machine and the debt is spread out. I'd much rather own Comcast than some hype play at 120x sales.

I was asked about Charter $CHTR and Liberty Broadband $LBRDA $LBRDK (remember relationship) plus peer Comcast $CMCSA, which are all among the top losing stocks today as you can see. Haven't written about them in a while because: (1) Don't own anymore. (2) Sick of explaining over and over that real investors in these names, don't give a crap about cable TV subs. Anyone in $NFLX era buying these, hopefully it has been for the broadband internet and not TV. So I'm sick of replying to people arguing such about linear TV, while they fail to realize most longs are in 100% agreement with you on that. Most people don't realize that the value in these names is the long distance data cable network. Some wrongly assume they're outdated, while not understanding that nope, they have plenty of potential capacity increase. To unlock, they just do the upgrades on last mile. That's it. It was I think last April when I sold remaining $CHTR on a high note from earnings, putting money into more $AMZN in 170s and another SpaceX $X $SPCX investment at ~400B, so that has worked. SpaceX Starlink should continue to encroach, that is real threat I've fully respected. However, a greatly misunderstood threat was Fixed Wireless Access (FWA). There is not spectrum to serve many users at all. The reason $TMUS pumped that hard for a couple years was merely because of all the excess underutilized spectrum they had after Sprint merger. If you run the numbers on FWA, it can't serve neighborhood or close to it. A couple houses, yes. For the rest, they need broadband/fiber OR Starlink OR whatever $AMZN $RKLB bring to market eventually. Still, even if/when widespread satellite, for urban environments, physical data lines will almost always make sense. Back to $CHTR, I place evolving thesis in the too-hard bucket so I've been out. $CMCSA even worse since it wasn't a pure play until recently.

Seems people have finally figured out how cheap $CROX is.

The Dow double-topping at 50,000 would almost be poetic. It's just an observation, not a wish. I'm positioned for more upside or a flip to the downside.
