@amygoodchild Is the needle wide enough to put a hole through it? Put a whole through the back of each needle and a threaded pin on the stand. The pin would go through the hole and use a wing nut to clamp it in place. Then the needle can be placed on the pin and will stay put before clamped.

I started looking at making something with a robot gripper, servo, a button and a sensor, but it feels like overkill. There's got to be a simpler clip option out there - any ideas? It would mean so much to her to be able to knit totally independently💜 3/3

Help! Looking for ideas! My mum lost the use of her right arm in a stroke, so I made this so she can knit one-handed. We had no idea if she'd be able to do it, but she got going straight away! Trouble is that she needs help at the end of every row to swap the needles. 1/3
