@ChrisWPhysio @AvantiWestCoast Absolutely this. You can implement controlled access to the platforms and chose not to. Why didn't you manage access to the train. The poor man on the platform was having to apologise to a lot of angry people. This is not the way to run a service when people are paying £££

@AvantiWestCoast @Stokebrewington Hi Pete The question needs to be asked why there wasn't a queuing system in place that ensured those who had booked that train were allowed to get on that train, it had a backlog effect for the 2043 as well where those who had booked that train were left Liverpool overnight

@AvantiWestCoast I had a reservation on your 19.43 train from Liverpool Lime street to LDN today and wasn't allowed on the train due to overcrowding and you then cancelled the next train. Why did you let this happen? Your customer service is appalling.

@AvantiWestCoast Hi Pete, then maybe ensure that people with paying tickets can get on the service they have reserved for. And don't cancel the following train. This isn't how you treat customers who pay £80 for a ticket.

@Stokebrewington Hi sorry you weren't able to board the service. It left on time, but the staff wouldn't have just let everyone board it because of the risk of a surge of people rushing to board. The additional service was never guaranteed to run and shouldn't have been advertised as such. Pete

@Stokebrewington what a fascinating bloke. i like that he opted out of that traditional english posh and did something more interesting. it's marked how different borough market is now. it's not selling at wholesale prices but at as much as they can get away with. annoying. no value these days.
