@The_PrenderCast @AGissara Docherty’s comments were fantastic. I’ve been critical of Doc’s attitude post his retirement (very anti Carlton) but I thought these comments showed a bloke that cares and is as frustrated as us fans are.

Carton fans agree with what Doc said, But some (including me) also think the timing of it was ridiculous as he was part of the problem as a leader of the club at the time and seemingly did fuck all about changing it

We’ve tried “experienced / proven”; Malthouse, Pagan, Voss and it hasn’t worked We’ve tried unproven; Ratten, Bolton & Teague and it hasn’t really worked either Dimma is probably the current exception to your argument

@hell4u02 @angelis_george Yep but in a pretty meaningless role. Suspect he’ll have the competitive urge come year end to rejoin the coaching ranks. Will be interesting if a guy like Longmire is too tempting over the good quality number of unproven candidates out there (Enright, Grigg, Pratt, Lappin etc)
