His dad, Press Maravich was a coach and during a Pete Maravich basketball camp I went to, Pete shared with us that his dad would see to it that he would practice 7-8 hours each day- and do up to 500 passes against a wall that would rebound back. He emphasized that no matter what you want to do in life-if you want to succeed as a professional - you should practice the craft or skill 7-8hrs daily. As a 13 year old that left an impression on me along with some of the other stories about life and making good decisions he shared with us before lunch break each day. This would have been summer of '75

In fact, it's a bigger ring than I would have got for the championship, but I'll tell you something about all the awards. They all pale to the glory of Christ and what He's done in my life. It's amazing what He has done in my life. I wouldn't trade my position in Christ for a thousand NBA championships or a thousand Hall of Fame rings or for a hundred billion dollars. There's nothing like the joy of Jesus Christ in your life."

@BiblicalBeauty He was lead to Christ by the late Dr Nelson Price, then pastor of Roswell St Baptist Church, Marietta, GA. I witnessed his baptism. Dr Price was from Louisiana. Pete’s father also became a believer. Loved seeing him play for Atlanta Hawks

I'm a woman. I'm accustomed to men lying to me, which is why I remain single. I'm a journalist who's covered politics professionally since 2008. I'm accustomed to politicians lying to me. That's just what they do. I don't trust people. Which is why I don't associate with many of them. But Trump snuck right in under my radar, man. He made me trust him. NOW much of the Youtube podcasts I watch (such as Dave Dowd and others) say that we are in a deflaionary period which is cyclic and real estate, metals and even oil pricing will go down due to a liquidity and credit crunch. Also due to being overpriced- stated that real estate (residential) needs to come down by 30% for it to unfreeze.
