Examples of rising anti-Semitism or tolerance of same in Ireland? Look up the timeline of @RachelMoiselle. Consider the lack of reaction to the comment by that @FineGael councillor. Consider the anti-Israeli demos that have sometimes included the flags of out and out anti-Semitic terrorist organisations. Consider the tolerance of Iran here.

@tomasocarthaigh 'Invaded' the country? There was a Jewish homeland designated in the area, and a Palestinian homeland. The Arab countries would not accept that and so tried to destroy the new Jewish State immediately, in 1948.

Most coverage of the war in the Middle East assumes that nearly all the responsibility for ending it rests with Israel, and not with Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran who get off very lightly. That treats the public as fools.
