Anyone looking for a movie to watch should check out @realsarahpolley’s Stories We Tell. It’s a heartfelt and brilliant commentary on how our memories can be a double-edged sword. It also has one of the best metatextual endings ever. It’s currently on streaming on Amazon Prime.

What I like about this clip is knowing how ridiculous and funny the actors were being - and that without sound it comes across as a depiction of memory.... we had a ball being idiots and then others felt we were being profound. Satisfying on many levels!

@Errant_Dave The theme was a man enjoying doing things that were killing him. A kind of obliviousness in the way he lived. I think it was a metaphor for how mad I was at my Dad for smoking or some such immature nonsense...I've never been asked that. Embarrassing...#ARRAYNow

@amen_jafri I think it was an essential concept from the beginning, based on the debates in my family about truth and its nature. Also My Dad and harry had such conflicting positions on this. It provided a natural tension in ways of viewing the past. #ARRAYNow
