@MsNewYear23 I know someone who was already making her eldest daughter look after the little ones when she had 4 kids. She’s now pregnant with her 6th, the eldest daughter has run away and now lives with her dad. Mum is bitching that her daughter is selfish and should value her family more

I remember my Mom telling me in 12th grade that she was pregnant with her 7th. I burst into tears, she replied, "I'm the one pregnant, NOT you." Guess who lives with me today?

@__MarieTherese_ My eldest is called Rowena, and we constantly get the “oh that was my aunty’s name!” comments from older people 🥹 Seeing their faces light up is so beautiful 😍

It’s really fun giving your baby an ‘old fashioned’ name, bc old ladies get really excited like ‘ooh my mum was called that!’ once, a lady called over her friend in another part of the shop ‘Edith! this baby has the same name as you!’ it’s super sweet

@jlm_sophie Mum of 3 (soon 4), and a doula. Put baby down, even if she fusses. She can fuss for a few minutes, your mental and physical health cannot be put aside, you will both suffer for it

@ThatRosaryGirl I have a 5yr old, 3yr old, and 18mth old. We don’t own a tablet, the kids do lots of colouring and imaginative play, and they chat with us. I’ve never felt the need to dull them with a screen. Also, they have ADHD or ASD or a combo of both 😂

@Remzsx I’ve considered this scenario, my mother is an abusive alcoholic, I cut her out of my life to keep me and my kids safe a few years ago. If she were to need a liver transplant, I’m her only child. I know I will refuse. The consequences of her actions aren’t mine to fix or carry

I keep reading all these accounts from Trump voters who claim "Oh, I didn't know about that policy," or "Oh, I never heard him say that." I say BS, but ok, let's follow that logic down: If you didn't hear any of his policies or what he said THEN WHAT WERE YOU VOTING FOR?

@Amxa02 My toddlers always say “it’s ok, we can clean it up!” if they spill food or water 🥹 We also get “You’ll feel better tomorrow” if we’re sad and “you’ve got this, you can do hard things!” whenever we struggle with something 🩷

@clhubes I homebirthed my 2nd, 3rd, and will my 4th. Personally I loved having my older kid(s) meet baby at birth, and I still had lots of kid-free time thanks to my partner and friends taking the older one(s). It’s not for everyone but spending time in a hospital sounds like hell to me

@clhubes My husband leaves me with 3 kids multiple times a year, yet I’ve never thought of setting up a meal train 🤯 That’s a brillirnt idea! I’m absolutely doing that next time!
