@HereticTaylor99 If my child murders someone as an adult does that mean I wasted my time teaching them murder was wrong as a child? My children will make their own decisions when they are adults. But I will raise them with a foundation built on Christ. Including proper sexual ethics.

This was my parents' philosophy and their reason for keeping me out of public school my whole life. Guess who turned out gay anyway 🤣

Americans think they can homeschool their kids even though they have no number sense and thus get completely confused by elementary math. The fact that you don't understand elementary math anymore shows the weakness of educating children through rote memorization.

@SusannaMcCoy19 @HillcrestCardCo Every person has to make their own personal choice. My kids cannot be saved through my faith. They have to develop that their own faith. But I can set them up for success by raising them with a foundation of Christ. Luckily parents have a lot of influence.

@StothersRyan @HillcrestCardCo My Catholic homeschooling friend went to Mass daily, 10 kids, lived in rural Ontario. Two of their daughters are married to women. The superior of my monastery had a priest brother and a sister was a devout Catholic. That sister's daughter also married to a woman.

@BadgerCaustic @HillcrestCardCo Please define what the log is in my eye and what the speck is in my neighbors regarding this thread. I did not realize not wanting the public school system to teach my children sexual ethics that are opposed to Scripture as not “loving thy neighbor”

@DataDrivenEm0 @HillcrestCardCo I do agree, the faith is about love and living sacrificially for the sake of others. It is also about keeping ourselves pure from sin including sexual immorality which would include homosexuality. I would care for a gay person. But I won’t validate their sin.

@DataDrivenEm0 @HillcrestCardCo Jesus never spoke on pedophilia, does not mean it’s moral behavior. God did speak about homosexuality, in His Law and through Jesus’ Apostles. You cannot chop up the text in the way you are wanting to.

@SuzanneBos43679 @HillcrestCardCo I did not make that claim. All of my previous friends that were gay did not like my becoming a Christian and holding to the Scriptures ethics. My claim is that I would have continued to be their friends regardless. Even if I would not have validated their sexual ethics.

Who died for those that were actively sinning against Him. You too can have forgiveness of sins. Believe in Him. He did rise from the dead.

@StothersRyan @HillcrestCardCo Again, you seem confused. Your belief in a particular god does not dictate what anyone does. That stops at your fingertips. Your wife is under no obligation to follow your religion, and can divorce you. Your kids cannot be forced to believe.
