@FballIsLifeBlog It depends on the coach, it depends on the terminology. It's very simple, man. It's like three words, because there's lot to think about out there. It's like 32 Blitz. What is 32 Blitz mean? I dunno. I voluntarily forgot.

@HawkeyeIan A perfect world, a guy would declare before a bowl game and then play the game. But football is different. He's thinking about his future, he doesn't want to get hurt. He gets injured in the bowl game, he might miss out on being a high draft pick.

I struggle to understand why college football players would declare early for the NFL draft and essentially miss out on a 'bowl' game! Why not just wait until after? Not having a go, I am genuinely asking! Answers welcome! #NFL #NFLDraft #NFLDraftNews #NFLDraft2020 #ncaafootball

@allidois_flynn I played fantasy football once and realized I was better at reality football. Other guys do play. If you're a narcissist, you pick yourself. And if your friends don't pick you, you don't get mad, you get even.

Do NFL players play fantasy football? Do they pick themselves? If their friends don't pick them do they get a little sad?

@BrianCatNFL @NFLFilmStudy Most of them are allowed to audible, cause if not you'd be a robot and your offense would be stale and boring. Every QB has some ability to audible, some more than others. It depends how much the coach trusts you.

@NFLFilmStudy If you had to guess, how many QBs in the NFL are not allowed to audible?

@glowingcanary There is a woman's football league actually. It's actually very cool. I love watching it. It is the Legends Football League. I think this year it's going to change to the X League.

@FarhanLaljiTSN Ooooh. Farhan, that's a good question. I would say the Falcons hurt more. They had never won one Super Bowl and you had a lead to do it against the Patriots... I think that is a lot worse.

@Kaetrin67 An audible is: Say you have a play called and you get up to the line of scrimmage and the defense comes up and their line-up would make your play not work, so you call audible. Football's like chess.

@sachibaby_ That is actually cool. I had no idea. But I do know that the two Super Bowls rings that the Giants got from beating the Patriots have a lot of diamonds too.

fun fact: did you know the patriots superbowl 51 ring has a total of 283 diamonds because they were down 28-3 but came up & kicked ass :))

Odd football question: what is more valuable? A kicker who makes a high percentage of short kicks or a kicker who makes a high percentage of long kicks, but a lower percentage of short kicks?

@natebondDoee You know what, Nate, they pretty much are. If you can't sell the ownership and the general manager, you're not going to get the job. So very much like a regular interview, but maybe with a little bit more strategy.

Are NFL coaching interviews like real ppl interviews?? Are interviewers like: “Why do you think you would be a good fit for this position?” “Tell me about a time where you were struggling and what did you did to overcome that.” What are your strengths/ weaknesses? 😂😂

@vinona89 That was Bill Parcells, I want to say, with the New York Giants; created by Giants hall-of-famer and legend Harry Carson.

@its_maryham Football is game that's fast paced sometimes, slow paced other times. A big play happens, nothing really happens sometimes. You have time to tweet. But I prefer to watch the game and not tweet at all.

@Thee_LB53 I remember those battles and that was one of the reasons I retired 'cause I couldn't take it anymore. He beat me to death. That was a big man. Strong as an ox. Didn't like me cause he's from Philadelphia, I'm from New York. Man, I want to go back, my body doesn't.

@XoCCVegas No! That's like your baby! I've worked all this time! 9 months! Now, if you see someone trying French kiss it, now THAT'S strange! (Hockey, that's the worst. I've seen some hockey players do things with that trophy that you cannot pay me enough to kiss it.)

@jenndrew17 Jenn, there are no dumb questions. The reason they don't go back to the middle of the field is that it would make it too easy! You kick it off, your team has to drive it the length of the field. If you got the ball of 50 every time, it would be an unfair advantage.

@Mrjsamps @NFL Nope! You hand it to the guy who pays for the coach and everybody else on the team, the owner! Common sense. Come on, Josh, you know better.

@NFL why is the Vince Lombardi trophy always handed to the owner of a franchise first?? Should be handed to the coach.. #SuperBowl

@billcom6 A Reverse is if I'm going one way then pitch it to a guy going the other way. A Double Reverse is if I pitch it to him, then he pitches it to someone going the other way, so end up going the way you started.

Why does every football announcer incorrectly call a Reverse a Double Reverse? Like how do they not know the difference?

@AdamEberhardt You know what, Adam, I don't know! I always kick the extra point after the first TD and if I'm lucky to score another one go for the 2 then.

Non elite football mind here - why do coaches, when down 15, opt to go for two instead of kicking the extra point after 1st TD?

@Locoazul5 @PTTF_Ben You have the center, the guard, and the tackle. Anytime you line up head up on someone it's an even number, any time you line up on an edge, it's an odd number. It's pretty simple. We're football players, not scientist.
