Pupils in Year 5 have the fantastic opportunity to be involved with the @JDOFoundation. St George’s partnered with @StraidhavernPS and in doing so, pupils have worked with their partner class each week to collaborate on a digital project.

Therapy Ponies, Tobi and Peanut, visited our school last Friday. The children had a ball learning all about the ponies, feeding them, and taking them for a walk around the playground! #equinetherapy #openforall

A very busy week in Straidhavern this week. All our classes celebrated World Kindness Week with lots of kindness themed activities! @JDOFoundation

A group of our Year 6&7 pupils spent last week visiting Disneyland Paris and touring the sights of the French capital. We had a fantastic adventure and the children loved their trip to see Mickey Mouse and his friends. #happytimes #makingmemories

We’ve had a busy start to our Easter Celebration day. We’ve started with Breakfast Club FRYDAY! The children are tucking in to bacon sandwiches this morning and they are going down well!! #eggscellent

This morning’s trip was out of this world!! The children have had a great time learning about Tim Peake’s adventures in space.

Spring has most certainly sprung at Straidhavern PS. The daffodils are in bloom and our butterflies have landed. The butterflies are part of the Love Living Here art project and they add some lovely colour to our grounds.
