@AntonHand Tired of me just statin something that could happen in the future that a modder might have the exact idea I had and they decide to make a mod and then I see that and I try it out?

@StrainZex There's this compulsion, only with gamers, to when they hear they're not being accommodated with a feature, to immediately communicate something to the effect "I'm sure someone will give me what I want". It's petulant, and after 10+ years of it, I'm tired of it.

@AntonHand I understand but it is truth, if a modder can do it they will do it if they feel like it and if they don’t then they don’t, not here to be rude just saying what could happen in the future, sorry if I offended you or came off as rude. Just thought it be an interesting interaction.

@StrainZex I'll give you example. You walk into a restaurant, you ask "hey do you guys do a beef wellington here", the waiter says 'no, that's not on our menu'. Do you say back to him "Well I'm sure someone in this neighborhood does". No, because that would be rude, and mildly insane.

@AntonHand Huh? You’re irritated that I accepted you aren’t adding in that kind of feature and that I’m ok if it’s not added by you or your team? I was just asking if hand tracking would be a thing or not, that’s all, if it’s not that’s fine, modders might try it or not, that’s ok.

@StrainZex Just FYI this is a tremendously irritating response to get when taking the time to ask if a feature is present, and I'm always surprised people don't seem to understand why.

@StrainZex No. We are not using any raw hand tracking data. Only controller button presses

Do you like sneaking around in games? Stealth will be a core part of Frostbite, our Far Cry-inspired VR shooter. Taking over outposts will require patience, planning, and knowing when to stay out of sight. And it's still Alpha, so it'll get much much better!
