Do the maths, Daniel! Amount of trips by bike in London now 1.5 *million* a day, as much as 35% of daily trips on London's extensive (and expensive) Underground network. (3.7m) Bike space and budget are pittance by comparison, but keeping London moving.

The amount of road space dedicated to cycling in central London is already disproportionate to its contribution to passenger transport.
