Trump is requiring that all the government issued White House phones have a special app installed so he can constantly receive praise like in other Countries like North Korea. Are we going to have to have a picture of him in our living rooms that we bow down and pray too.

We're suing the DOJ, Treasury and IRS to fight back against Trump's $1.8 billion slush fund. Bad enough that it's a blatant form of craven corruption. But it's also illegal. And, on top of that, unconstitutional. We're not letting this one go. citizensforethics.org/legal-action/l…

Daniel Rodriguez, 40, pleaded guilty to attacking officer Michael Fanone on Jan 6, tasing him in the neck and using a dangerous weapon to injure a law enforcement officer. Hospital tests showed Fanone had cardiac arrest and traumatic brain injury.

At this point we have no idea what's true and what isn't. Including war and diplomatic world situations. All we know is what Trump wants us to.

Hey @Franklin_Graham, No president in history besides Trump has… Been impeached twice Incited a violent attack on the United States Capitol Attempted to overturn a legitimate election Refused to peacefully transfer power Been convicted of 34 felonies Been adjudicated as a rapist Paid porn stars hush money before an election Had multiple indictments in multiple jurisdictions Been implicated in a child sex trafficking ring Praised white supremacists as “very fine people” Separated migrant children from their parents and lost track of many of them Mocked disabled people publicly Suggested injecting disinfectant during a pandemic Used the Bible as a political prop after tear-gassing peaceful protesters Called Black nations “shithole countries” Attacked judges, prosecutors, and jurors when held accountable Openly threatened political opponents with retaliation Turned the White House into a merchandising operation for himself and his family Had five children by three different women while being propped up as the model of “Christian values” So spare us the performative spirituality. A photo op with a Bible is not holiness. Calling for prayer means nothing when your life, policies, rhetoric, and behavior consistently contradict the teachings of the Christ you claim to honor. White evangelicalism keeps proving that Christianity has never been about the teachings of Christ for them. It has always been about maintaining white supremacy, privilege, and power.

Who else is going to miss the Stephen Colbert late show that was on CBS/Paramount & was cancelled after he criticized them for settling a $16 million dollar lawsuit with Trump & then called it a bribe because they needed FCC approval for the SkyDance merger which was approved.

BREAKING: NYT torches Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund for Jan. 6 rioters as “worst corruption in modern times” that threatens our constitutional order! The Old Grey Lady has finally got her hackles up about Trump. In a blistering editorial, the New York Times calls out one of the most brazen acts of presidential corruption in modern American history after the Justice Department created a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund to reward Jan. 6 criminal insurrectionists and other MAGA “victims” of the Biden administration. “Has there ever been an episode of presidential corruption so blatant and threatening to constitutional order? Certainly not in modern times,” the Editorial Page writers wrote. The fund is the product of a sham lawsuit Trump filed against his own IRS, which morphed into a sickening sweetheart deal where he drops the suit and taxpayers foot the bill to pay off his allies. The money will be controlled by a five-member commission hand-picked by acting AG Todd Blanche, Trump’s lap dog, with Trump able to fire any member at will and virtually no transparency on who gets paid, or how much. The Times called it what it is: a reward system for those willing to commit violence and break the law on the president’s behalf. It also brings together Trump’s three worst traits: his lust for money, punishing his enemies and rewarding his friends, and rewriting the history of January 6. It’s so bad that Treasury Department General Counsel Brian Morrissey couldn’t stand having anything to do with it and resigned in disgust just hours after the fund was announced. (Good for him.) Senate Majority Leader John Thune publicly admitted he was “not a big fan” while a host of others lambasted Blanche in private. This slush fund is part of a larger, dangerous project: turning federal law enforcement into Trump’s personal protection racket while incentivizing future lawlessness by his supporters. It sends a clear message that no matter how awfully and illegally you behave on Trump’s behalf, the government will have your back and possibly even cut you a check later. The editorial is a must-read warning: Trump is actively working to erode the guardrails of democracy, and this fund is the most naked example yet. Has he taken it too far this time? Indications are that he might. Let's hope the backlash continues.
