Scotland has escaped relatively unscathed from a global IT outage. It happened when a faulty software update was sent out by Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike to Microsoft users - it's now delivered a fix. @DanielRThomas24 is Director of @UniStrathclyde Academic Centre of Excellence @StrathCyber. He says the massive market share enjoyed by tech giants is partly to blame...and probably not the Russians.
