My guess is it’s rank increase. Because I only noticed the first two bosses having a little more health. And the rest of the game felt the same. So if you’re playing well it doesn’t matter too much.

Went and got a Hardest dips clear in the arcade version of Hyper Duel. Not so sure what the differences are. Lol Maybe some bosses have a little more health? Maybe more popcorn bullets? Faster rank increase?

@LocalBtnMasher I never fully watched his videos but from the clips I was shown he often seems to lie or omit info to make a point he decided upon way before playing the game (if he even does so). Don't see the appeal of him.

As Electric Underground uploads more videos, I found his opinions too picky for me. I don't wanna follow him anymore. I know AA(A) games are prime to be complained on, but being too picky will make your gaming experience miserable. Not every game has to be Ninja Gaiden II-tight.

Also just really pretty. I prefer the original soundtrack just a tad but the new visuals are a huge upgrade. Very bright and colorful now.

Sloppier than I woulda liked, dying twice to the stage 6 boss and twice to the final boss. I heard some say the Saturn port was harder. I think it’s true but only slightly. A couple of safe spots don’t work and a lack of slowdown were the main differences I noticed.
