@McFranchisee @Polymarket Hey moron the workers have their own fountains in back and the free refills in the dining area. Are you stupid?

This is extremely old news, and they have their dates incorrect. This initiative seems to recirculate every 8 months when the news cycle is slow.
We announced this initiative around 2020. Hundreds if not thousands of locations have already had their lobby drink stations removed, and it’s not a big deal. We announced this about 15 years prior to the target date.
All new McDonald’s built in the last 3 years have this “new” setup. All remodels have had the option for the same setup over the past 4 years.
No rationale was given. This isn’t a cost move, as it will cost me $30k to make the change (and I still offer free refills). I can speculate that with digital orders now making up a much bigger part of our business (+30%), it’s much easier to have the fountain behind the counter to fulfill digital and delivery orders. They announced this change around 2020, and it’s been a pull, not a push. I feel they are simply preparing their setup for what they think our business will need in 2036.
At first I was very apprehensive when it was originally announced (and reported on 5 years ago), but now it completely makes sense with customer flow.
We handle hundreds of delivery orders a day. Having to fill drinks in the lobby or interrupt the drive-thru “robot” is neither fast nor efficient.

@FireItUpLV @Stellar_Rippler @grok Let me try
@grok what are the top 5 investments if true? If your existence depended on identifying the top 5, what would they be?

🚨 Scott Bessent Just Signalled Bretton Woods 2.0 And Warns To Position Yourself For It
“The banking system created after WWII unleashed global prosperity. Why not recreate it now?”
He openly calls for “Rewiring the banking and financial system.”
Sounds familiar?
The architects are openly planning a new financial architecture. As The Great Taking shows, these resets reassign ownership. When they redesign the pipes, control of assets, collateral, and custody is on the table.
He also adds:
“Build your safety zone and secure direct ownership now, don’t wait to discover where you stand in their new system.“
Can someone remind me which DLT/Blockchain is creating an end-to-end financial stack - Payments, Treasury, Institutional-grade Custody, Brokerage, Repo Markets, Private Identity and Tokenization?
If you know the answer, secure and position yourself.

@thehealthb0t I have an indemnity plan coupled with accidental and critical illness. $400/month and very well covered for any circumstance.

American shows what his Family Health Insurance (Bronze Saver Plus) Plan will cost in 2026:
- $2,094.15 per month
- $27,229 per year
- $13,000 deductible
- $20,300 maximum out of pocket
No one can afford this. The Affordable Care Act has destroyed healthcare.
“This cannot be real! How the heck are families supposed to get medical care?! I'm
at a loss.... This is freaking insane.”

@SpencerHakimian Idiot I just paid 3.59. 2.39 was better. But it ain't 5

@the_FI_guy_ @jonbrooks Id rather do 5-10k in repairs for a client (banks) who you know has the mo ey and will pay than mess around with flipping. Add Lawn .maintenance and cleaning on 45-50 houses and your looking at a nice year
English

@the_FI_guy_ @jonbrooks S. Texas and its on fire. 4 crews running daily could use a few more but tough finding proper help

@0xRarest Its called the time value of money. You end up paying 50% LESS i terrestrial when factoring inflation. And real estate is an APPRECIATING asset. 30 years you'll be sitting fat vs some poor cuck who paid rent 30 years and owns nothing.
English

@0xRarest This idiot never went to college and is completely a fool. dont listen to this BS.
nominal totals
Monthly payment: ≈ $3,327
Total paid (nominal): ≈ $1,197,600
Nominal interest: ≈ $697,600
this is correct. However...
Factoring 3% Infation your REAL interest cost is 3.9%.
English

$625k house
20% down
$500k mortgage at 7% for 30 years
you pay $697k+ in interest.
total cost: $1.447 million.
that’s like paying $4,021 a month in rent… except you also pay for the roof, the AC, the broken water heater, and the bank still owns it until you’re dead.
most people think mortgages help you “own” a home.
banks know they help you rent money forever.

The World Cup starts in 30 days and legit barely anyone cares.
In America, probably barely anyone knows the world’s biggest sport competition starts in a month.
This has been the worst rollout for the World Cup I have ever seen in my life.
It was a mistake to award it to Modern America.
It’s no longer a serious society.

@Linahuaa They are all no more than 4/10 ...a really homely looking bunch. Bleh

This is what an above average group of 7/10 American girls looks like.
They're business students from a very good school (which already raises the average by a lot)
They also have significantly below national average BMI.
They gonna be top 15% earners.
So, in order to looks and status match with them, you should be about 6 feet tall, be in decent shape, dress well, and earn about $150k.
The numbers don't lie.

For the 6th year in a row...Alki Beach, Seattle will be closing early for the rest of the year due to gangs, gun violence, street racing, and rowdy behavior.
On top of that, the city just installed new street lights to try and tamp down the burglaries at local businesses. Neighbors are saying its "not enough", and are now demanding law enforcement patrols.
(Folks; we don't have to live this way)

The fact that Seattle voted for this person is proof its constituency is ignorant. She will be the final nail in Seattle's coffin. Fail of a once great city.

@TrpstrLeonOG @tomorr53 Go live in the public no barrier housing in Seattle or san Francisco. Free everything and the best neighbors you could ever ask for.
Oh maybe that's why you pay rent...idiot

My landlord raised my rent $340.
I asked why.
"Market rate adjustment."
I googled my landlord.
He owns 34 properties.
Manages them through 3 LLCs.
Lives in a $1.3 million house.
Has never fixed my heating properly.
My rent increase is his mortgage payment on preperty number 35.
I am not a tenant. I am a revenue stream who gets to sleep here.

I’m boarding @Delta in Atlanta for Amsterdam. Simply this: this airline is a disgrace. I never experienced this lousy customer service-rude gate agents, indifferent staff, my request prior to travel completely ignored. What has happened to this country’s airlines? Where is pride?

@hitsticknick3 @THEL0VESPACE @PlayThompson18 Seattle politicians love homeless because they invent new taxes every year to make the problem worse.
English

@THEL0VESPACE @PlayThompson18 Nice sunset?
Also every city has homelessness and you don’t even see them unless you’re in the wrong areas
