@nationalpost Berating the U.S. president publicly hundreds of times for the sake of empty political grandstanding has its costs. Thanks Doug Ford, Mark Carney and elbows up libtards.

Right now there is an enormous amount of “hostility” towards Canada as a negotiating partner in Washington, says one expert

@ctvottawa Lmfaoooo. Only an ignoramus unfamiliar with downtown Ottawa would treat this as a newsworthy story. This little pedestrian underpass has been a hive of degeneracy and crime for decades. What I find more interesting is why the author's @CTVNatalieVR twitter account is suspended?

@thewalrus Ahh yes. Justin Ling, that bastion of truth telling and journalistic integrity, who has been caught out dozens of times applying political slant and inventing narratives out of whole cloth to grind axes, is here to lecture us about misinformation. Is this a comedy skit?
English

After years of covering misinformation, investigative journalist Justin Ling has reached a stark conclusion: “There is no amount of fact checking, media literacy, or platform moderation to solve the extent of this problem.” What comes after defeat? thewalrus.ca/the-war-agains…

@globepolitics Another worthless pledge? The stock in trade of the Carney Liberals. G&M and the rest of the washed up, paid off Canadian MSM love it - cheap and easy news articles about nothing. Did Frankie Bubbles get that million dollar personal loan from China paid off yet?

@FoodProfessor Canadians still haven't learned the lesson that anything government-run will be slower, more expensive, more bureaucratic and probably lower quality. This applies to the current Liberal administration more than perhaps any federal government in our history.
English

"If the NDP wants government-run grocery stores, it should be for the right reasons. Addressing the North and food deserts makes sense. Complaining that grocery “oligarchs” are making too much money does not."
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor
Government-run grocery stores would need to be ‘heavily subsidized’, could be sued over food recalls: Food Professor thehub.ca/2026/04/02/gov…

@LarryBrockMP They don't even slip through the cracks. Canadian judges routinely let violent offenders out the front door with a parade.
English

Ordered deported. Never removed. Now charged in a Hamilton murder.
This is what a broken system looks like. Dangerous offenders slipping through the cracks while Canadians are left at risk.
Conservatives will fight for a system that actually enforces the law and puts public safety first.
Justice for victims. No more excuses for criminals.

English

@AlbertaCanada60 Yep. That clown Pablo Rodriguez got a real charge out of it. Now there is Gary the terrorism supporter. I think the Liberals deliberately elevate foreigners to cabinet positions to demoralize us.
English

@1061CHEZ @bigwreckmusic @ShawvilleFair Cosmo the dishonest boomer Lib wanted everyone to know today that the Iran war is the only reason your gas prices are increasing. Not Carney jacking the carbon tax, that's not allowed to be mentioned. It must be exhausting keeping those elbows up so high.

@CBA_News One of the worst things society ever did was elevate judges to a height that they believe themselves to be above reproach. The court of public opinion doesn't go away just because you dislike its conclusions.
English

CBA President Bianca Kratt, K.C., warns that recent media commentary questioning the impartiality of a sitting judge of the Ontario Superior Court risks undermining public confidence in the judiciary.

@FoodProfessor This should be the encyclopedia entry for Canadian scandals.
English

@sarkonakj Well done. Judges should understand that they are not above scrutiny by journalists or in the court of public opinion. The loss in public confidence is down to nonsensical decisions by the judiciary, and instead of defending this they immediately resort to silencing tactics.
English

The CBA is scolding an unnamed journalist for criticizing a judge, calling it a "crude effort at undermining public confidence in the judiciary."
Since this is clearly about me: I will not apologize for my column about Justice Faisal Mirza two weeks ago.
