I just had an amazing out of the blue phone call from a #StreetMed patient that I saw once, encouraged that he go to the ED months ago and I haven't seen since. He just told me he is on his way to rehab and is excited for his fresh start! #HarmReduction

There was a report (to our staff) of a street delivery in the area. Increasing access to reproductive healthcare matters! Unnecessary street deliveries should never happen when hospitals are less than 1 mile away #PregnancyCare #AccessibleReproductiveHealthcare #ReduceStigma

@CallmeZmoney Hey yes such awesome news! This should make it much easier for any free-standing street med clinic to bill and continue to be sustainable which is amazing! From my understanding, there is a bit more flexibility when a street med program is attached to a FQHC

We’re excited to announce that we are opening our first recovery residence specifically for pregnant & recently postpartum moms in Philadelphia! We’ll be providing housing for 12 months along with childcare, wrap around peer support, & transportation assistance.

We’ve been working over the last year at @UnityRCO, led by our pregnancy and postpartum peer recovery support team, to figure out a way to address one of the biggest problems mothers are facing in their recovery - housing. We’ve got news!

I asked him whether he was building a separate living room space and he responded excitedly, "no actually, I was thinking more of a screened-in porch" :) #streetmedicine (2/2)
