@electricfuture5 Do you have the latest navigation update? I found this improved everything by a long way, before then it was useless. Just did gold coast to noosa and back and it was (nearly) flawless. The main Issue I'm seeing is that it doesn't pick up the LED speed limit signs.

We need an FSD update in Australia critically. FSD is So so bad on highways. I hate to say it but I can't believe this version was even released

Indie devs. If you could give one piece of advice to a beginner game dev, what would it be?

“Nobody has vibecoded anything worth anything” Your head is in the sand mate. We are building datacenter mega temples the size of manhattan, building new nuclear plants to power them, and putting datacenters in space Leading labs are building productivity apps with millions of users that have transformed knowledge work, learning, science & business forever Cursor wrapped vscode and sold for $60 billion to the richest man in the world. That’s literal value creation. My workout log and grocery list think and run on autopilot. I have multiple income streams from software I’ve made with Ai and I’m working on more. If your life hasn’t transformed in the last 4 years because of value made from vibecoding, genuinely wtf are you doing? You’re behind. Your head is in the sand
alz@alz_zyd_

it's been a few years now and nobody has vibecoded anything worth anything this shows that code has never been the bottleneck for building anything worth building

@SpicyTech_ca Damn, this happens a lot to me on 14.3.3 in australia. Thought it might be fixed in 14.3.4 Does it happen often? or was just a one off?

FSD 14.3.4 just served me its worst moment in weeks. Route said continue on the highway but the car had other plan.. it signaled, and started steering into the off-ramp before I took over. There were no hazards nor obstacles, no reason I could see. Just a confident wrong turn. What I can’t tell is it a driving stack error, or navigation/map data pulling it off course? Also thinking about the drivers around me watching a Tesla randomly dive for an exit. Maybe it’s 14.3.4’s way of telling me 14.3.5 is close. Fingers crossed. What’s your read. Was it planner or nav? And has 14.3.4 pulled an exit fake-out on you?

Navigation update complete, hopefully this will fix the turning right from left lane on roundabouts and merging into the exit lane on freeway even though we should continue straight issues I’ve been experiencing on @TeslaAUNZ fsd 14.3.3 anyone else noticed the difference?

I was at dinner. Went to pay the bill, opened Apple Pay and every card was gone. Confused, I logged into @Wise. That's how I found out they closed my business account. No email. No warning. No reason. Just gone with $50,000 of my company's money locked inside. That's everything i have. I've been a @Wise customer for 5+ years. This is extremely disappointing. No notification that they'd even done it. I only knew because I couldn't pay for dinner. Then I spent hours trying to appeal — the app and website kept logging me out over and over. Finally appealed and waited for any acknowledgement at all. Silence for 3 days. So I filed a formal complaint. Two more days of silence again. Finally I called and explained, in detail, exactly what this is doing to my business. Their answer: "we've received it, we're working on it, we'll get back to you within 15 days." Here's what "15 days" means when it's your entire operating account: supplier invoices due, freight forwarders waiting to be paid to clear shipments already in transit, creators unpaid, inventory down to days. if stock didn't make it on time my Amazon listing goes out of stock, it loses the ranking I spent months and serious ad spend building, my creators will also leave and be really furious, that doesn't come back when they return my money. That damage is permanent. Every day they sit on this, they're not just holding my cash. They're dismantling the business. This is a legitimate, registered US business. Every single dollar traces to payouts and supplier invoices, fully auditable. I offered to send them everything: Payouts reports, invoices, ID, contracts. They never asked for a single document before closing me. Not one. I'm not a scammer. I'm a founder who built something over years, and I got locked out of it at a dinner table with no explanation and no way to reach a human who can help. @Wise — return my company's money. this is unacceptable Complaint case 25050042.

Day 7 of building a snowboarding game with Fable 5🏂 It's got a soundtrack now, PS1-style jungle/DnB, and it plays on mobile. Enhanced snow, lighting, and sky quality. New terrain. Vertical stick control. 1 week 42,000 lines of code, All raw Webgpu, no engine.

So I am trying to hit a 500 calorie deficit every day + hit my protein goal of about 150g (2g per kg bodyweight), and I used Claude chat for that, but after a week it starts losing track so I asked it to export its data as CSV and copy pasted that into Claude Code on the VPS And asked it to build a little calorie tracker called 🥩Caltrack with a Telegram bot too, so I can log whatever I eat or drink in there either via Telegram or if I want more granular via Termius SSH on the VPS I like to do this mix of Claude Code and a dashboard/chatbot because you can ask more deep questions to it like "how am I doing", "what to improve" etc. it's just much smarter and "able" on the server than the Claude chat app by itself Anyway my goal is to get @marclou levels of body fat, which is LOW, right now we're strong and lean but we can be leaner, let's try 😊😊😊 80% of body fat is decided by what you eat, only 20% what you exercise, some say even 90% vs 10%, I agree, I eat very clean but I was mostly staying on maintenance Silly calorie dense food like yogurt with low protein, taste nice but it gets you away from your calorie deficit fast, and to figure that out you kinda really gotta track things Other people suggest crash diets like eat only sardines, we know from studies though that crash diets are temporary, you just gain it back Claude says the ideal is just 500 calories deficit per day and hit your 2g/kg protein goal and you maintain muscle and reduce body fat! So I'm doing that And this app I made helps a lot!!! Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!

Driving is done, let's listen to the haaland!! (turn on the sound) Still can't believe we have built a game so far with 0 game dev knowledge. Day 28 of building Caliber for our own open source, open world game with a loop of AI agents. Today's progress: - driving is in we can get in a car and drive around the city. - the traffic and pedestrians all running while you drive, cars around you, people on the sidewalks. - Repo is under reconstruction. it's a little bit laggy in game still so I'm working on performance right now until it runs smooth for everyone.
Ziwen@ziwenxu_

AAA studios spend $200M on a city this good. Ours cost $1,500 and swapped Miami for SF within a week. An agent did it in a loop while we slept, now he's working on the traffic and pedestrian.

I took the trees from Synty's Nature Biome packs and renormalized the leaves and baked ambient occlusion. They already looked great before, but I think this makes them look a little bit better in three.js. Especially in indirect light.

You won’t believe the Australian startup investment data trends we’re tracking at Glitch Capital. Early-stage investment, from Pre-Seed to Series B, has been trending down since 2024. As a country, we’re going backwards when it comes to startups getting locally founded and grown, and the recent CGT legislation will make it a hell of a lot worse. This isn't to say Australians aren't starting and building great companies. Quite the contrary, we're seeing that it's becoming more common for Australian founders to build their startups internationally from the start. Today, Michael Read, the economics deputy editor at the AFR, published a piece opening with “Australia is facing its longest stretch of weak economic growth since the early 1990s recession”. Why isn’t the government and treasury making this country a better place to do business, a better place for risk-taking, for employing people and being innovative?

you have 3 options, and lobbying the govt isn't one of them 1) take your startup elsewhere 2) suck it up and do nothing 3) put your resources into helping the political party who is going to deregulate everything and lower your taxes. you probably won't like any of those options so stick with 2
