@jtccrafty @MoniqueJam87009 @seeratsohi This is such a bad take. You just said what you claim to love about basketball and how you coach whatever you claimed to coach but also said that this is a failed product and only watch it now because of CC. The level of cognitive dissonance at play here destroys your argument

Not if this biased, 30 year failed product….CC simply shined a very bright light as to why. I’m an a former college hoop player, LOVES women’s college basketball, coached girls youth basketball for 12 years, and love fundamentally sounds, high BB IQ’s, bounce passing, ball faking, boxing out, and the player makers that can drain the long ball. One good thing CC has done is provide defensive motivation to pick up exactly ONE player up for 94 feet….wonder why.

On the Caitlin Clark-Alyssa Thomas situation, a PR crisis the WNBA ignored for too long, fanbases with different visions for the future and the frustrating gulf between how good it feels to be a WNBA fan and how toxic it seems from the outside looking in: theringer.com/2026/06/26/wnb…

The safest time to speak up is at 10%. 1 rep today: Say it at 10%, not 90%. Where are you waiting until 90%?

Been avoiding one conversation for three weeks. Keep telling myself it's not the right time. But I'm starting to see the pattern. The cost doesn't go down. The muscle goes up. Time to take the rep. Read more: everydayleadershiplab.substack.com/p/the-sunday-l…

You overweight the cost of action. Underweight the cost of inaction. Relationships erode when you stay quiet. Opportunities pass. Teams stop bringing you early truth. Silence isn't as safe as it feels. Read more: everydayleadershiplab.substack.com/p/the-sunday-l…

"I need to name something." Best conversation starter I've learned. Signals intention without accusation. Creates readiness without triggering defense. Works anywhere you're avoiding the real topic. Read more: everydayleadershiplab.substack.com/p/the-sunday-l…

1 sentence can save you 6 months of resentment. 1 rep today: The 10-second courage check. What’s the sentence you’re avoiding today?

Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's action in the presence of cost. Embarrassment is on the table. Rejection is possible. You act anyway. Not recklessly. Just honestly. The gap between knowing what's right and doing it? That's where courage lives.

You feel the words form in the meeting. The feedback that would actually help. The question that would reframe everything. But what if I'm wrong? So you say something smaller. Or nothing at all. Read more: everydayleadershiplab.substack.com/p/the-sunday-l…

That sentence has quietly stalled more careers than bad work: "I don’t want to seem like I’m bragging." So we shrink the win. Soften the impact. Hand the credit away before we even hold it. Drop ONE win you’re proud of this year 👇 One sentence. No hedging. (1/2)

Silence doesn’t keep you humble. It keeps you unknown. Cringe version: “Just sharing for visibility… I did a few things.” Clear version: “Led X, which changed Y. Couldn’t have landed without Z.” Same humility. Different outcome. (1/4)

Work doesn’t speak. People do. If you don’t tell your story, someone else will. And they’ll tell it with less detail, less context, and less care. Humility isn’t invisibility. It’s accuracy + shared credit. Sunday Lead: everydayleadershiplab.substack.com/p/the-sunday-l…
