Capitol One tried making me pay off my mom's credit card balance when she died. I told the agent she had passed. Since I didn't sign the credit application I was not responsible and that lying to me by telling me as my mom's adult child I was responsible, attempting to collect a debt I was not responsible for...

@hell_line0 What's crazy is females reproduce asexually in nature, treat reproduction like males are to blame for reproduction existing, and where males would be the only ones to ever invent hormonal birth control and treatments for painful conditions associated with female biology.

Does anyone else find it crazy men can sexually transmit cancer to women and we just are like .. ok with that nd don’t encourage more men to get vaccinated against HPV ? 42% of all sexually active men carry HPV and because it does not show any symptoms to the male, and does not show up on any tests, he transmits it unknowingly and can give women cancer !! It’s literally insane we do not discuss this more….

@PDXRoses503 @jemelehill She left ESPN almost 8 hrs ago. She left but y'all still haven't. Are you ok? Spending this much mental energy on someone else's life suggests something in your own is being neglected. Touch grass.

@JamesSantory @ma1ybe You have no idea the burden women go into medical spaces with. Years of being ignored, dismissed, and invalidated often comes to a head. Also, the question is irrelevant. She didn't come to talk about children, she came to schedule a procedure.

@ma1ybe Let me get this straight, you got really bitchy because the doctor asked you to the standard question that they ask everyone. All men who go for a vasectomy are asked by the urologist the same question. He was not insulting you, but you sure looked like an ass.

When I went to a male gynecologist to discuss getting a hysterectomy because of my fibroids, one of the first things he asked was, “Aren’t you afraid you’ll regret not having children?” I asked him, “Do you regret not becoming a banker?” He looked confused and said, “I never wanted to be a banker. And i said “Exactly. I’ve never wanted children”. Gtfo

@jemelehill @theNFLchick Why are so many missing the point? Either take issue with evwryone doing the walk out or don't take iss with anyone. Morgan is an unapologetic racist so this shouldn't be hard, but Clark shouldn't be flogged while all of the men are ignored.

@Blahsquiat145 @Baseballdad_15 @jemelehill Nobody was calling LBJ the GOAT despite having won nothing at any level. James won 3 state and one national title in high school. He was being crowned before his arrival, but he also lived up to the hype immediately. Not👏🏾the👏🏾same👏🏾

@Baseballdad_15 @jemelehill Jordan and Kobe were the faces of the League before LeBron, but in a way, Bron was the Caitlin Clark of his era in terms of the attention and hype that followed him coming into the NBA. Bron didn't really take that over until he win in Miami and Kobe had the Achilles injury.

Yes, because LeBron won multiple titles with different teams and he became the standard for winning. He became the bar. Being the face of the league doesn’t mean you win every single year. But you have to have the popularity AND the accomplishments AND be the standard. The NBA is in an interesting place right now. LeBron and Steph are the two-most popular players in the league, but because they’re on the back side of their careers, it’s different. The person best positioned to be the face of the league right now is Wemby.
Adonis@Adonis_1120

@jemelehill @gashaw_hailu Lebron has been the face of the league for multiple years now and he hasn’t won a championship since 2020. So how does this logic apply?

My coworker had spent nine months with severe morning sickness, gestational diabetes, and a traumatic delivery. The morning after giving birth, she asked about permanent birth control. The doctor turned to her husband and asked, “Would you be comfortable with that?” He stared for a second, genuinely confused. “I wasn’t aware I was the patient.” The nurse actually smiled.

@Bakari_Sellers that's because you're stupid. Mark Sanford completely went off his rocker over a piece of a$$. Had us all thinking he fell off the side of the mountain or something yet he was in South America on the taxpayers dime. We don't have time for that in South Carolina.

@klass_room_ @Grethe1956 @_sorrengailll You're missing the point altogether. No man can ever experience a period in real life so no amount of Googling will ever make him a valid source of the experience. I read it and thought, we wish it was that simple. It isn't.

True. His general awareness and maths do suck. The point I was trying to make was that women can, and should, raise concerns about men's lives. Those concerns could be right or wrong, but they can never be disqualified with the statement "How would you know?" unless it was about something subjective like feelings. And vice versa. This small point seems to have drowned in this monstrosity called Twitter :)

I lived in Tennessee when I got divorced in 1986. We had one child. The judge told me I was not allowed to have any unrelated males at my house, while my ex-husband, who was 26, started dating a young girl in high school who was 16. Ah, the south.

It seems you’re responding to implications and not what I actually said. You put a lot of thought into my laugh, which I guess is flattering. I’m well aware of your journalistic credentials. I interned at The Inquirer when you were a columnist. I often tell young people that you became what you became because you were one of the best NBA writers in the country. Draymond and I had a broad journalistic discussion about the relationship between players and reporters, where I used myself as an example of how doing daily television kept me at a distance from the people I was actually discussing. I didn’t mention you. I honestly wasn’t even thinking about you. That discussion wasn’t about you at all. I didn’t say I’d been in more locker rooms than you and never implied that. You swinging at ghosts, my guy. I don’t have a problem with you. If I did, I’d tell you to your face.
