@vikesinsider Daunte cullpepper wasn't any good. He just had an elite wr core and randy moss made it easy to read the same two high defense every play. His stats are only good because we had the best talent around him. He just had to toss the ball up, and purple was gonna come down with it.

Here's the key from the Vikings' 38-point flogging of Cincy: bad or mediocre teams don’t do that, especially not to a 2-0 squad. Fans sulked after Week 2 — rightfully so — but this was proof the Vikings are good. Maybe great. You don’t luck into a 48-10 pounding. Not possible.

FAs — Jack Jones — Mike Hilton — Rasul Douglas — Shaquill Griffin — Jaire Alexander — Stephon Gilmore — Asante Samuel Jr. Trades — Tariq Woolen — Jalen Ramsey — Greg Newsome II We're gonna know by the end of summer if they love their existing group. No excuses with this many options. There's also the roster cutdown market in late August.

This JJ McCarthy throw during Vikings OTAs is filthy. He can whip it, but there will be ups and downs for him as a passer early on, given his lack of experience passing at Michigan. Got paired up with one of the best HC imaginable for his development.
