I’ll take a bit of a break in January. Then I’ll start my new role as a software engineer at @ShopifyDevs, where I’ll work on the developer experience of their platform. I am super happy to continue working with and on web technologies and hope I can shape things for the better.

New year. New city. New job. After almost 7 years, I left the Web DevRel team at Google today. It was an incredibly tough decision, but I think it was the right decision for me. I’ll miss working with this incredible group of people on a daily basis.

@joshuajenkins I think UI should be able to score really high in qualities like these whether they are static or animated, but animation can definitely tell stories that cognitively offload users.
