Voting on the @StargazeZone Migration is live👀
Here is our opinion 👇
We have been involved in the discussion from the very beginning, and our position has consistently been that the proposed migration cost is unjustifiably high. There are several reasons for this:
1.@cosmos should not be paying for the migration of projects that were built and developed entirely within the ecosystem.
2.The cost of the technical work is significantly inflated compared to real market expenses.
3.The Stargaze team has not provided any concrete bonuses or advantages for the Cosmos Hub in the event of a successful migration.
4.There is no clarity regarding the project’s future development plans. The team has not specified:
• how new creators will be attracted,
• how the existing collection ecosystem will be supported and developed,
• what mechanisms will drive revenue growth,
• and what benefits Cosmos Hub will receive as a result.
5.Stargaze’s success has always been rooted in its collections and their creators, yet the proposal does not clarify:
• whether the authors of successful collections will receive any benefits from the migration,
• nor how the project plans to support and promote its flagship collections going forward.
Conclusion
We deeply value the contribution Stargaze has made — and continues to make — to the development of the Cosmos Hub. However, the current proposal terms primarily benefit the Stargaze team, and it remains entirely unclear what long-term advantages the Hub itself would gain from this migration — therefore, our validator is voting “NO.”
