@carla_denyer Fuck off man you absolute doylem. The majority of these people are trying to come for a better life - not fleeing war. You insult the intelligence of ordinary people who see straight through you.

More cruelty from Labour today, who will send riot police to stop migrants in small boats These are human beings fleeing war and persecution If govt really wants to end dangerous channel crossings, they must open safe and managed routes to the UK bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Too many people face food insecurity. Zack Polanski and Rachel Millward visited a foodbank to announce a plan to tackle the affordability crisis: 💡 No energy bill rise in July. 🏘️ Rent controls to protect households. 📉 Re-join the customs union to lower costs.

@ZackPolanski - this is magnificent. Three things I can’t deny: 1. It is a video. 2. You are wearing a jacket. 3. Then you aren’t. 4. Then you are again. Unfortunately that’s where the accuracy ends. A few corrections for you: Peter Thiel is not our CEO. Alex Karp is — and has been for 20+ years. (A lifelong Democrat, for anyone keeping score.) We are not a “spyware company.” Spyware is malware. Malware is illegal. Calling a software company spyware is, technically, defamatory (don’t worry, we are not suing). We don’t build surveillance technology. We build software that helps organisations make sense of data they already hold. Not the same thing. There was no “private tour” of our HQ. There was a public photocall to which the media came. Hence, why there are so many pictures of the event. Our MOD contract is not “the biggest defence contract in UK history.” Ajax armoured vehicles = £5.5bn. Dreadnought submarines = £31bn. We’re grateful for the work, but let’s keep a sense of scale. We have no more access to NHS data than Microsoft has to the contents of your Word documents. I think you know this by now. We don’t have access to patient medical records. Same story. I agree that “nothing matters more than our health.” Which makes it worth reminding you of what Palantir’s software is actually doing in the NHS right now: ->110,000 additional operations ->15% fewer delayed hospital discharges ->7% more patients finding out within 28 days whether they have cancer Respect again for what you did with that jacket.

Boris held drunken orgies in lockdown, hired a nonce and lied about both 18 times. Truss wrecked our economy. Starmer may have made a slight procedure error. The right is desperate 😂

He gave Queen Victoria chloroform. Then he saved billions of lives with a map. 🇬🇧 In 1853 a London doctor named John Snow was summoned to Buckingham Palace. Queen Victoria was in labour with Prince Leopold, her eighth child. Snow administered chloroform. The Church of England had preached against pain relief in childbirth. They taught that the pain of labour was ordained by God. Women were supposed to suffer. The Queen called it "delightful beyond measure." Overnight, one London doctor had made painless childbirth socially acceptable across the Empire and beyond. But his greatest discovery came a year later. In September 1854 cholera hit the Soho area of London. 616 people died in days. Every doctor in Britain believed the same thing. Cholera was spread by bad air. "Miasma." Every medical textbook said so. Snow did not believe it. He walked door to door across Soho. He asked every grieving family the same question. Where did you get your water? He drew a map of the neighbourhood and marked every cholera death as a black bar at the address where it happened. The bars stacked up like bodies in the street. One street glowed with death. Broad Street. And at the centre of the cluster stood a single public water pump. He took his map to the Board of Health. They refused to believe him. Everyone knew cholera was airborne. The bodies kept coming. On 7 September 1854 he went back. This time they listened. The handle was removed from the Broad Street pump. The outbreak stopped. The pump had been contaminated by a nearby cesspit. One soiled nappy from a cholera victim had seeped into the groundwater. 616 dead. Snow had been right. The establishment still refused to accept it for the rest of his life. He died in 1858 aged 45, a stroke, believing he had not been believed. Twenty years later the world caught up. Every sewer system on earth. Every water treatment plant. Every clean tap in every home. Every public health department. The entire science of epidemiology. All of it is built on one English doctor's map. The Broad Street pump still stands today on Broadwick Street in Soho. The handle has been permanently removed. A memorial to the doctor who walked the streets of London and changed the world. This is your history. Your tap is his memorial. Help us find the next John Snow. proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿☕️🫖 NIGEL FARAGE IS THE REASON YOU’RE ANGRY ABOUT IMMIGRATION You’ve been listening to Nigel Farage complain about immigration for years. Here’s what he doesn’t tell you. The Dublin III Accord was an EU agreement that allowed the UK to return asylum seekers to the first safe EU country they entered. If someone arrived in the UK via France, we could send them back to France under Dublin III. It worked. It gave us control. It was our legal right as an EU member. Brexit destroyed it. The moment we left the EU, we lost access to Dublin III. We can no longer return asylum seekers to EU countries. They stay here because we have nowhere to send them back to. Who campaigned for Brexit? Nigel Farage. Boris Johnson. The Brexit Party. David Cameron called the referendum. They told you Brexit would solve immigration. They told you we’d “take back control.” They lied. Brexit removed the one mechanism we had to manage asylum claims effectively. Dublin III let us return people to safe EU countries. We don’t have that anymore. The boats increased after Brexit. Not before. After. Because the legal route to return people disappeared the day we left the EU. Nigel Farage campaigned to leave the EU. He got what he wanted. And now he campaigns on the immigration crisis his own policy created. He caused the problem. Then he sold you the anger about it. Then he asked for your vote to “fix” it. This is the con. You’re angry about immigration. You should be. But you’re angry at the wrong people. The person responsible for the immigration situation you hate is the person asking for your vote to fix it. Nigel Farage destroyed the Dublin III agreement when he pushed for Brexit. Everything that’s happened since is the consequence of that choice. Vote tactically May 7. Stop giving power to the people who created the problem. Nigel lies to you because he thinks you like getting angry and will vote for him in return even though he is the reason you are angry. I want you vote for him. He’ll remove more of your rights and money. He doesn’t care about you. I’ve met him, I know. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿☕️🫖

@CPhilpOfficial @Conservatives Fucking hell. I bet you are fun at parties 🙄 There literally thousands of people walking round this country with no legal right to even be here, working illegally and committing serious sexual offences. Surely the police should be rounding those up as priority over stoners.
