Has there been a bigger casualty of the modern parasocial marketing campaign than We Live In Time? We’ve been screamed at that these actors have insane chemistry, but it rarely feels like more than two actors workshopping a twee meetcute in the actual film..

@GavinSpoors94 I think it’s a shame so many folks are put off by the last act, which for my money is the most illuminating aspect.

The more I think about Queer, the more I think it could actually be one of Guadagnino’s best. It’s not perfect but the theme on queer connection hits hard — even (and maybe especially so) during its controversial third act.
