@JuliaHB1 No-one has successfully argued that oil and gas are terribly bad for the environment. CO2 makes up .04% of atmosphere. Seems unlikely that driving my diesel car is going to make a lot of difference. And that’s if CO2 is a bad thing. There is no proof.

Anyone with any knowledge at all of our energy needs says that a UK powered entirely by clean energy would be poverty stricken, with people dying of preventable diseases and hunger, unable to travel anywhere or defend our borders and sitting in the cold and the dark.
