@davidaxelrod @VP Plus, he has a very strange sense of a joke, his excuse for Trump's blasphemous and deeply offensive depiction of himself as Jesus Christ. Even atheists should be offended by such a display of narcissistic megalomania. Just the latest evidence of detachment from reality.
English

What a week for the @VP! He took the unusual step of campaigning for Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, who lost in a landslide today and led peace talks in Pakistan, which ended in failure yesterday.
Not the time to buy a Powerball ticket!

English

@davidaxelrod Ax, you are the highest league political technocrat. But even you fell for it. Trump deployed know effective media trap. Do you know the professional term for it? I hope you do.
English

Not sure how great I'd feel if my doctor came in dressed up as Jesus with light beaming from his hands but I'm pretty sure I'd ask for a second opinion!
What an amazingly weak cover story for a grossly offensive--and revealing--post--tellingly deleted after a deluge of criticism.
Collin Rugg@CollinRugg
President Trump claims the viral image that was posted on Truth was not a depiction of him as Jesus Christ but was him being depicted as a doctor. Reporter: Did you post that picture of yourself depicted as Jesus Christ? Trump: I did post it, and I thought it was me as a doctor and had to do with the Red Cross as a Red Cross worker there, which we support.

@AndrewDeikel @davidaxelrod Damn straight. Iran's going to keep its uranium. Its evil regime will remain in place. And, unless the US will engage for the long-term in controlling the Strait of Hormuz, they'll keep that. It's Obama revisited, folks
English

@davidaxelrod He’s not Obama. He’s not just going to accept any deal Iran will accept and call it a win. No matter what you’re going to pretend Obama’s Nuclear deal was awesome and anything Trump does is embarrassing so this is a little pointless
English

@IamUSAProudru @davidaxelrod Wow! Ouch! Relax, it's Sunday.
English

@davidaxelrod @davidaxelrod Why are you and Obama still interfering in PresidentTrump’s administration? Obama never left Washington and goes all over Europe visiting World leaders, and you running to the Pope. You are both evil people and deserve to be in jail.
English

@kaitlancollins Kaitlan- to the extent you can discern, is Trump willing to let Iran keep its enriched uranium? Vance's statement referred to the "tools" for a nuclear device. I bet he'll trade control of Hormuz for Iran keeping its uranium. Nothing really accomplished more than Obama.

After a marathon 21 hours of discussions in Islamabad, Pakistan, delegations from the US and Iran were unable to reach an agreement on ending the war.

@davidaxelrod @realDonaldTrump @nytimes Trump/Vance only hurt him. How could he advance a nationalistic platform when he brings in foreigners to campaign for him. And not just any foreigners, but ones that Europeans despise.
English

Viktor Orban systematically weakened the pillars of Hungary's democracy--courts & rule of law; the media & universities. But he couldn't deny Hungarians the final word. Orban is defeated.
Big loss for his allies, @realDonaldTrump & Putin.

@ipglow @davidaxelrod Ridiculous. Just consider that the parties are negotiating off of IRAN's framework. Try taking off your blinders of love for all things Trump, and see that nothing more will be accomplished than the Obama deal Trump ripped up.
English

When I see people who appear knowledgeable spew trash for political expediency, it marvels me. Trying to undermine the enormous achievement of Epic Fury. Bringing Iran to negotiate genuinely under the threat of total destruction and getting a lasting solution to the 47yrs terror and buildup is a win. (Other efforts Iran was tricking everyone and lying. Hence 60% enrichment, longer ranged missiles ).Again Iran only terrorizes the strait (as a terrorist nation )of which every nation within the GCC has the capacity of doing but not stupid or cornered enough to do. America has the capacity to force it open but at a cost that will be detrimental to the Iran people who are innocent and good people. The only cost to the US may be economy pains for a slightly longer time max 3mths, then for Trump political capital. Which the democrats will exploit (even if it means America is destroyed that’s how Insane most are). Iran can’t use that enrich uranium as it is buried deep is istafan. and even if it is retrieved no factory or lab to continue as it has been destroyed. Missiles has been largely destroyed with little left to last for how long. Hailing Iran against The US is like hailing Hamas against Isreal. Hamas till the final ceasefire was still firing missiles but we see how Gaza is. When you deal with a death Islamic cult that has no care for its people or life the outcome is always destruction. Anything happening in the US is very short term Infact within weeks everything will
Come back to normal . Shaping it as failure is sickening.
English

Today, the Iranian regime is still in place. They still have thousands of missiles and retain their highly enriched uranium and now they're negotiating for a firm grip on the Strait of Hormuz in perpetuity to end the war.
Meanwhile, we've lost 14 U.S. servicemen and women and hundreds more have been wounded; spent tens of billions of dollars; and badly depleted our supplies battering Iran.
At the same time, inflation is raging again and gas is at $4.15 a gallon and rising--$1.20 more than the day before we decided to launch a war against Iran.
Remind me again why this was a good idea?
English

@davidaxelrod Even VP Vance, an otherwise despicable autocrat, was against the war and said it, unlike the other sycophantic stooges who suck up to Trump.
English

@davidaxelrod @nytimes It was a miracle rescue, to be sure. However, the heroic officer shouldn't have been there in the first place. And, now, Trump is "fuckin" determined to kill ordinary Iranians by taking out their electricity and other infrastructure. He's criminal
English

Regardless of your view of the of this war, every American should be relieved and gratified that our pilots were returned safely, thanks to remarkable and courageous work by their brothers and sisters in the military & Intel community.

@davidaxelrod Yeah, Tillis is a perfect example of the RINOs that we need to replace. Tillis is so corrupt that it is obvious he has been for sale in DC since the beginning of Trump’s term.
English

There's something so refreshing about a retiring Republican senator, liberated to speak his mind!
Kaitlan Collins@kaitlancollins
Sen. Thom Tillis: “The threshold for somebody following Pam Bondi ends the moment I hear they said one thing that excused the events of Jan. 6th. I’ve been very clear on that. So, I hope whoever they have in mind to follow General Bondi is very clear-eyed on my position on Jan. 6th.”
English

@davidaxelrod Tillis represents what it means to be an honest politician, neither pandering to a constituency, nor bowing to a dictator wannabe. Of course, some of you want Trump to be a dictator.
English

@davidaxelrod Tillis is so open about the political tension between seeking reelection and retiring.
English

@eavidan @davidaxelrod @POTUS Easy to say without specifics- I mean real facts. What Obama or Biden did and the specific consequences. I'll give you Biden and immigration. Otherwise, I expect specifics, not knee jerk responses born of what others have told you.
English

@davidaxelrod @POTUS Unfollow. You are a joke. Biden sucked. Obama was worst. We are in the middle of a war. You should respect and shut the fuck up about our president
English

Not my business, but seems weird that the @POTUS wants to put his signature on the currency just at the time when dollars are flying out of the wallets of very pissed-off Americans!
English

@davidaxelrod @POTUS It's everyone's business, David. Trump has created a cult of personality like no one before him - the Kennedy Center, the absurd east wing ballrom, Trump swag stuff. His is a grave affliction of narcissism.
English

@EYakoby @marcthiessen Let's face it, sir. Iran has confounded our military leaders. We're not going to get much from this killing of Iranian human beings. Do you want American troops on the ground?
