@henrywinter Trent’s absence seems to be getting overplayed (not just by yourself, Henry!) He’s easy on the eye but defensively fragile, potentially in a clique with Bellingham (another square peg in a round hole?), and his numbers have dipped in Madrid.

Thomas Tuchel spoke to Trent Alexander-Arnold about why he’s been left out of England friendlies. “I know it creates noise when you leave a player like Trent out. We had a call, I tried to explain the situation. He just has to accept it. It’s just a choice. A ‘sportive’ choice. A difficult choice and maybe a hard choice - and maybe to a certain degree unfair, but these choices have to be made. “I think I know what Trent can give us, so the choice was for Ben (White) and for Tino Livramento, to stick with the guys who actually had good camps with us in September, November, December. Putting this out here as a Scot... but isn't Harvey Barnes good enough for England? Tuchel likes pace out wide - hence Foden firmly considered a 10, Grealish overlooked etc. After Rashford it's only really Gordon for him at LW. And Barnes has been more potent than Gordon.

Game of opinions and all that but more than two Frenchies are in for me. Foden/Griezmann mighty close to making it. Tchouameni's better than Rice.

Having a bit of this for #MLSFantasy this year. Eastern hemisphere and a two-year-old makes Switcheroo too complicated.
