OpTic Texas went undefeated at Major I until the Grand Final. They had an overall 🟢 12-4 map count, yet didn't take home the trophy. 🏆 In fact, they were 🟢 6-4 in map count against Paris Gentlemates who won the tournament. It's insane to think about. The result might have been very different if the format gave any advantage to the team coming from winner's bracket.

A lot of convo about the current format and it has nothing to do with who won. Gentlemates deserved to win because they clutched when it mattered. That doesn’t change the fact that losers bracket is currently a momentum advantage. Two bo5/bo7 > bo9 1 map advantage > current
