Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that there seem to be more female OT (Occupational Therapists) than male? After diving into some papers this afternoon, it feels like this might be a trend. Is this becoming the norm in the field? @ClareTaylorBU @OT_Expert @sarah_dzu_OT

In essence, this preference for negative feedback is often linked to a desire for self-improvement and a need to feel motivated by challenges, rather than being satisfied with praise that might feel superficial or undeserved.💭

Am I the only OT that worry that positive reinforcement could lead to complacency or a lack of motivation. I fear that being praised will me to stop striving for improvement, so negative feedback feels more energizing because it pushes me to keep working harder.
