Today, StudentsNS launched our Get Out the Vote (#gotvns) campaign to encourage students to head to the polls for the upcoming NS election. Student unions across the province are supporting the campaign by providing voter info, hosting events and collecting pledges on campuses 🗳️

We’re excited to see the student living allowance boosted for Nova Scotia students receiving financial aid! We look forward to continuing our advocacy to increase student financial assistance weekly maximums to reduce unmet need for student borrowers. #nspse #nspoli

Extending the Canada Student Grant and Loan programs will provide immediate relief to students in need, and the Canada Learning bond will now provide every child from a low-income family in Canada money to save for post-secondary education.
