Holy shit, a Democrat not letting lefty protesters run roughshod over them during a campaign rally
How did I not know Kamala is the only Democrat in America with any balls? Where has this woman been hiding?
Jacob N. Kornbluh@jacobkornbluh
Harris to protesters repeatedly heckling at Michigan rally (about Gaza war): “Everyone’s voice matters. But I am speaking now… “You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win say that. Otherwise, I’m speaking.”

🚨If you want to climb into the mind of Joe Biden or the Biden family at this time .... think about all of this from Joe Biden's eyes and his own lived experience.
At the end of the summer of 1972, his Senate campaign pollster, Pat Caddell, commissioned an internal poll. Caddell came back with the results over Labor Day weekend and the #DESEN race stood at:
BOGGS: 47%
BIDEN: 19%
Biden wasn't taken seriously and told by everyone that he had no chance to win the Senate seat in 1972. Even his own adviser and new friend (Kauffman) told him that he couldn't win. His challenge to Senator Boggs was dismissed as cute and quixotic. He was just a young gadfly out to raise his name ID and political profile. He had NO CHANCE of beating Caleb Boggs - a popular incumbent Senator, former Governor, and Congressman - universally BELOVED by everyone in in the small state of Delaware - who was running on a ticket with a very popular President Richard Nixon at the top!
On Election Day, Nixon won the state of Delaware with 60% of the vote that cycle. But it marked the first of many times that Joe Biden would defy gravity (political and otherwise) as he would slip by Nixon's nationwide landslide and make what most thought impossible possible - winning 50.5% of the vote and defeating the incumbent.
BOGGS 49.1%
BIDEN 50.5% ✅
Now ... plug-in that triumph to the entire tapestry of Joe Biden's life and career and the chapters of Joe Biden's life and career, defined by setbacks and resilience
1942-1959 Overcame a childhood stutter and the mockery and bullying accompanied with it
1972 Unlikely Senate Win
1972 Survived the heartache and loss from the death of Neilia and Naomi
1987 Humiliated by accusations of plagiarism and forced to withdrawal from the 88' Presidential race at age 45 in what looked like could be the end of his political career
1987 Led the defeat of Bork's nomination to SCOTUS
1988 Catholic Priest attempt to deliver him the last rites while suffering from the burst of an aneurysm on an artery wall at the base of the brain / given 50% chance of surviving
1991 Became the poster-child responsible for the treatment of Anita Hill during the Clarence Thomas hearing and roundly criticized for decades for his handling of the hearings
2007 Loses a second campaign for the Presidency
2008 Selected as Barack Obama's running mate and ultimate the Vice President
2014-2015 Obama and company make clear that Hillary Clinton is the heir apparent and blesses much of his team/operation over to the Clinton Campaign in-waiting. Obama would not be endorsing his own VP for President that cycle.
2015 Suffers the death of his second child, his son Beau
2015 Obama makes additional attempts to push Biden away from running in 2016
2019 Obama does not endorse his own VP (again) and stays neutral in the 2020 Democratic Primary
2019 As Biden begins to assemble campaign team to launch his third run, they're hit with accusations from Lucey Flores before he evens gets off the ground
2020 A former VP is crushed by Democrats in the Iowa Caucus, New Hampshire Primary, and Nevada Caucus
2020 South Carolina Primary gave him wings
2021 Biden becomes 46
2021-2024 Wildly successful first term and most productive and effective President (in terms of deliverables) since LBJ.
2022 Biden's party avoids the expected midterm thumping and historically overperforms. Crushing disappointment for GOP.
2024 First Biden vs. Trump debate of historic rematch

Trump may have survived an assassination attempt by a single inch Saturday night. His instant reaction was a stunning testament to the fighting spirit that half the country loves.

Enough is enough: now is the time for @BarackObama to shut down this Biden-needs-to-step-aside nonsense. The polls are tied. Dems MUST focus their attention on Trump and the GOP. Obama needs to stand with Biden at his next rally and say, “The 2024 ticket is Biden-Harris.” PERIOD.
