While I don’t believe he’s was “treated unfairly”, because many prospects have been drafted high and given opportunities over the years because of their skill set, despite character flaws, off the field issues, etc, I can understand why you feel this way. I think teams just didn’t think of his football abilities as highly as the media hyped them up. I’d be incredibly happy and thankful for the opportunity, if I was in Shedeur’s shoes. Playing in the NFL & winning, especially as a Browns QB, is a dream come reality for him. That’s incredible, and I don’t think it’s a minor thing. It’s a major accomplishment & a gift from God. I just still believe there is arrogance, immaturity & entitlement issues. I believe NFL teams, including the Browns have felt the same. I’m happy to receive pushback on that and have people disagree, that’s 💯% fine. I just don’t think his stats & resume give him the “right to talk his sh***” like this. He’s shown promise, but I believe there’s a fine line between confidence & arrogance, and he crossed it. Not everyone will agree with that, and again, that’s fine, but many people do, which is what I’m acknowledging in the original post. He wasn’t owed first team reps as a back-up, tons of former players have attested to that, and when he did get them, I don’t think he has the right to “talk s***” like this after a game when he went 11-20 for 209 (70 of this being a swing pass for a TD) & another awful INT.
