As democracy flourishes in #Somaliland, women who are 50% + of the pop are being marginalized. Democracy is about inclusivity, yet of the 100 appointments made by new SL prez, 4 are women. How do capable women apply for positions considering clan elders are lobbying only for men?

He was a respected researcher w interest in d socio-eco & political dev of SL. He served in d previous SL admin as DG Finance & Education. He was a soft-spoken, highly intelligent, virtuous person & generously shared his experience. We were friends for 23 yrs. Alle ha ku janeeyo
