Hey Congressman, which “last fall” are you talking about? Because it sounds like you’re rewriting what voters really told us.
Let’s deal in FACTS…
LAST FALL, from Virginia to New Jersey, voters across the board sent a message, and you clearly missed it.
Hispanic voters shifted more than 35% to the LEFT. That’s not spin, that’s reality and it hasn’t reversed.
PRESIDENT TRUMP didn’t win by shrinking the tent. He EXPANDED it. That’s how you build a coalition.
I’m sure you LOVED those headlines in November 2024 about historic Hispanic support, now you want to pretend it didn’t happen?
Here’s another FACT: the majority of Americans support real immigration reform, and the Dignity Act is exactly that.

This is the kind of Orwellian doublespeak we expect from the Left, not our own party. The reality is that under the current system, illegal aliens ARE being deported. We are not living under an amnesty regime, and it’s dishonest to say we are. Our only objective right now should be to speed up deportations by equipping ICE and DHS with the funding and resources they need. The DIGNIDAD Act does the opposite. It would give legal status to 12 million illegal aliens, while hamstringing deportation efforts for the rest. That’s amnesty and it’s everything voters rejected last fall.

One of the biggest lies the media told after the 2024 election was that the podcasters Donald Trump engaged with to close out the campaign were part of some “right-wing manosphere.” In reality, none of them skewed “right-wing” at all. @joerogan, @TheoVon, and several others had all been openly critical of Trump long before he appeared on their shows. Many were also self-proclaimed Bernie Sanders voters. So I’m not surprised by some of their pushback, they’ve never agreed with Trump 100%. That’s why it’s so dishonest when the media immediately frames any disagreement as “so-and-so is splitting from Trump.” How do you split from something you were never truly connected to? They also call balls and strikes (how they see them) on both sides.
