An unpopular opinion though. People don’t really prefer male bosses, they just understand them better. Also we’ve spent years normalizing male authority, so when a man is firm, nobody reads meaning into it. But let a woman do the same thing, and suddenly it’s termed “attitude” or “doing too much.” The same behaviour but different interpretation. So it’s not really preference, it’s just conditioning. People are comfortable with what they’ve been taught not to question.

Why do people prefer Male bosses to Female bosses?

I don't agree though I used to think it was this reason, but that thought changed over time. With this theory, it means that there will be no bad male bosses, which is untrue because the majority of the leaders we hold accountable for running the country are not females. It has to do more with their leadership quality. You are either a good boss or a bad boss, it has nothing to do with the gender. It is why there are programs like Aspire, that teach people these leadership qualities. You are either intentional at learning to be a better boss and become one or you are not and are not one.

@Suave_______ @chrisfronna @man_like_benson The old guard was decent, but it doesn’t make the cut. Off the top of my head, I can’t figure decent Hollywood movies, but I’ll tell you this, nollywood movies still don’t lace the boots of any of the movies I watch, even indie films.

@Suave_______ @chrisfronna @man_like_benson Also, what would a better list look like to you? You’d be surprised how many heavy budget Hollywood shows I dislike. People get upset because I can’t stand stranger things. I would really love to hear your idea of an ideal list.

I watched a Nigerian movie over the weekend, WHEN LOVE PRAYS, out of pure FOMO. And honestly? It’s a well-produced film. The acting was solid, every character delivered, and the storytelling pulls you in. But as it got to the hospital scene towards the end, something in me paused. I had to look beyond entertainment… and question the message. The truth is, the entertainment industry has a strong power to shape culture and influence how people think. And if you’re not discerning, you’ll consume a message without even realizing it’s reshaping your convictions. In this movie, an Imam’s son falls in love with a Pastor’s daughter. They get married without their parents’ consent. Eventually, “love wins,” and both families unite. But beneath the surface, there’s a subtle message being pushed: That Christians and Muslims can unite in marriage because “we all serve the same God.” You see scenes where: – The husband prays in the parlour (Islamic prayers) – The wife is in the room speaking in tongues – The wife follows the husband to the mosque – But there’s no mention of her going to church Then comes the child… Emmanuel Abdulrahman. And you’re left asking: What exactly will that child grow up believing? Who will he serve? Or will he be taught to blend both? This is how culture shifts. Quietly. Gradually. It’s the same strategy used when certain things became normalized: – Sex scenes in movies started subtly… now nothing is hidden – Cohabitation was presented as “getting to know each other”… now it’s standard – Other ideologies were introduced through likable characters… and slowly accepted This is not random. It’s influence. And now, the same pattern is being applied to faith and marriage. Young believers are watching. Young ladies are watching. Children are watching. And the message being planted is: “It worked for them… it can work for me.” But let’s be clear: IT IS NOT NORMAL. IT IS NOT CUTE. IT IS NOT BIBLICAL. “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers…” — 2 Corinthians 6:14 This is not hate. This is conviction. Marriage is not sustained by feelings alone. Love is powerful, yes—but it is not enough to carry a marriage that is divided at the foundation. Even Abraham understood this. When it was time for Isaac to marry, he was intentional. He refused to let him take a wife from outside the covenant. Because direction matters. “Can two walk together except they be agreed?” — Amos 3:3 You cannot be heading in opposite spiritual directions and expect alignment in marriage. So yes—appreciate the art. Celebrate the effort. But don’t blindly accept the message. Not everything that looks beautiful is truth. Jesus didn’t die, suffer, and rise again so we would compromise the very foundation of our faith. He is not just a prophet. He is the Son of God. The Word made flesh. The Lamb that was slain. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords. There are not two altars. There are not two paths. There is ONE way. “Salvation is found in no one else…” — Acts 4:12 His name is JESUS CHRIST. SELAH.

If you are a poor person, DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS ADVICE It comes from a place of privilege You people don't know that money markets and every other investment is for people who are stable not for poor people Those markets dance, they are subject to political decisions and so many other things that are beyond the control of the poor One global event can render that 20m useless and they won't have a house and an investment If you come from the trenches in Nigeria, own a house first. In our society that does not have so many options, a house stabilizes you for more risks. Own it No carry your last 20m go put for any investment when na your last hope be that. the next President fit worse pass Tinubu and your money go be history. Also, stop advising poor people to invest in things like this with all their bulk money. Land and property is a better investment for poor people
Ari-Wire-Wire@OnyeUwaoma88

Nothing sweet poor people like owning property..thats why they buy properties in bushes with hope it will appreciate. Instead of placing this 20m in money market & use the interest to rent a good property in a good area..they tie the money down in one bush just to answer landlord
