@VivaLaDoctor @LGrapenthin Marathon show a better retention...its pretty normal when you compare a game with over 100k concurant players game with a game that cant break the 40k. If there is more people playing a game, the chance are higher that more player will stop playing it, its just logic

Marathon’s steam playerbase has decreased by 76%, whereas arc’s steam playerbase has decreased by 77% of its players. This is pretty comparable.
Arc also launched in a time of game drought.

The choice to make Marathon will result in Bungie closing or being re-assigned. This is why Steam numbers matter, btw. Just like sales. Commercial AAA gaming is not for art projects and participation awards.
