@vsodera Giving direct feedback is any day better for founders than just a typical “it’s not the right time for us” or something along those lines pass. We need more investors giving direct feedback , coz VC investor litmus test (validation) is sometimes as important as customer feedback

During a call today, had a founder tell me to “f*ck off” after I politely and matter of factly gave him feedback on why I was passing on investing. (I previously sent him a rejection email with some feedback, but did a follow up call as a favor to him, per his request.) Note: This why investors send vague rejection emails and ignore founders’ request for feedback. But I’m not going to let one person’s bad behavior deter me from continuing to give feedback to founders moving forward. His excuse? “I couldn’t stand being critiqued for 15m on something I truly believe in making work.” 😳 Some lessons for founders: 1. Manage your insecurities and emotions. 2. Be prepared to receive feedback, especially if you’re the one that’s asking for feedback. 3. Don’t attack an investor for giving you feedback, especially if they’re being polite and matter of fact, as they’re doing YOU a favor. 4. And if can’t handle an investor’s feedback, you don’t have the fortitude to be a founder.

I migrated from Google Chrome to Apple Safari for my browser a few weeks ago and wow, Safari is much more efficient in memory usage. Chrome just kills system memory to the point where a low end Chromebook could not even run Zoom! Anyone else done any Chrome vs Safari comparisons?

@databrett Kudos to nvidia, but it’s a shame that none of the other hardware companies are able to get even close to nvidia’s dominance. Ofcourse they have got the cuda advantage & head start. Plus every large co working on their own AI model doesn’t help in enabling a common oss framework.

What is your prediction on how fast NVIDIA ($2.19 trillion market cap) overtakes Microsoft ($3.15t) and Apple ($2.62t) as the most valuable company? I think NVIDIA will double from here - probably in the next 2-3 years. Also, Amazon is at $1.93t and Alphabet is at $1.91t.
