Hey so i was wondering, with your new policy update on bits, are bits still allowed to be counted as 500 bits=sub for a SUBATHON @TwitchSupport

@zachbussey So if i run a subathon, i can no longer have 500 bits count as a sub? even tho twitch ltierally doe that with hype trains?

Twitch has updated the Bits Acceptable Use policy for the first time since 2018. Key changes: - Bits can now ONLY be used for things on Twitch. (An explicit ban on using Bits for anything off-platform or of monetary value, ie. Movie Night, Merch, etc.) - Much stricter enforcement, including a new "forfeiture clause" which essentially says they can take your Bits (no compensation) for any violation. - Officially kills the "Ads for Bits" product (leftover language; that product has been dead for years).
