Make no mistake: the Orioles are 3-6 because of their starting pitching, not because of their hitting. Has the lineup been a juggernaut? No. But your starters cannot be going out there and giving up 4+ runs consistently. No team can survive that.

Of course he does while Bassitt has over a 14 ERA. Eflin is done for the year. I swear every move Elias makes goes wrong. I’m not at all saying we should have kept Sugano but can’t keep getting these aging arms and expect them to produce. That strategy doesn’t work. Elias needs to be replaced or hire an actual GM outside the organization who has actual power over roster construction. Sucks to waste another year of Gunnar then next year with a possible lockout too.
