Canonically Proteus existed , he was real & not some made up tale for a story . So I wonder if anyone has made a story about what he did to gain his legendary title . It must’ve been something great considering they gave him an entire life size statue in his honor 2/2

Plenty of stories exist of Proteus being an exMSR engine , some god , an enigma or an entity of sorts but correct me of I’m wrong but I don’t think I’ve seen any stories that cover what made him gain his legendary status . 1/2

I don't have a taste for how often people make Proteus be this “enigma about an engine that no one knows if he really existed,” when in reality he was confirmed to be a really important engine at a certain point but smth happened to him, smth that made him become a legend.
