This is so sad on so many levels

Hey lawyers! 🚨👨🏼‍⚖️👨🏼‍💼👩🏾‍💼🧑‍💼 Kids back to school and so you’re back to work tomorrow. Dreading it? 🤪 or not? Perhaps over summer you had a bit of hybrid flexibility, if so that’s nice of your firm. But I’d like to really change your life! Around 5 years, I made an active and conscious decision to put my family first and that led to me leaving partnership of an award winning legal practice to set up my own legal consultancy. In doing that I: - put my kids first; I’m at every school thing nowadays, help them get ready, homework, eat dinner with them and weekends are all about them - put my wife first; we get to spend time together without kids; and I’m around to help during the week much more - put my clients first; I don’t have to do management meetings and other non-chargeable stuff now, so I get to focus on Remarkablaw legal service. - put me first; I have time to exercise, rest, decompress and enjoy life. - put my finances first; I get to live a ridiculously good life due to the way I’m now remunerated - put my future first; I can finally invest for my future and plan what retirement might look like (even if I’m only 41!) (Ok; I know I can’t out them ALL first, but don’t ruin my point making) Legal consultancy is a really serious alternative for many solicitors. It allows you to practise law how you’d really like to. Want to bill half a million and work all the hours? Be our guest! Want to bill £70k and enjoy having ample hours every week free to choose what you’d like to do? If you’re any good at bringing in a small amount of work, then I reckon you can make consultancy work. I’m looking for solicitors in the midlands to join my little Nexa hub in particular: - commercial property - conveyancing - family But anything will do. Even if you’re like me and do businessy/corporate stuff, I’ve work to share and would love someone else on board too!
