@mcnameegill Thanks Gillan, not been on Twitter much since start of COVID that has got everyone down! Working in a care home setting has been tough for the residents, their families & staff. High staff turnover 30+ since I started Oct 19 by inexperienced, unsympathetic unenthusiastic staff.

The goal of #WorldMentalHealthDay is to raise awareness. I'd like to raise awareness of this: 39% of adults in #police #custody have a #mentaldisorder. (McKinnon & Grubin, 2013). For me, this raises profound questions about how we deal with #mentalillness & who we police.
