@CGWorsham @DrJillStein Let's just hope they can build this whole industry faster than they can repair an aircraft carrier damaged in a fluf fire.

@ShaykhSulaiman So they've lost the military war and it's back to 'sanctions'. They've sent China some strongly worded letters I hear 😱 It's over. Why would anyone do business with the Unstable State of America and risk getting ripped off.

BREAKING: SEC. SCOTT BESSENT JUST SAID THAT GULF COUNTRIES ARE OPENING UP IRANIAN BANK ACCOUNTS TO THE TREASURY "What may prove to be fatal mistakes the Iranians made was bombing their [Gulf] Neighbours." "Who are now willing to be much more transparent in terms of the funds, or do a deeper dive in investigating the funds that are held within their banking systems." "So, we have pushed out to them the request that we want to freeze more funds of the leadership of the IRGC and any members of Iranian leadership."

They're sanctioning banks now.... the desperation is real. Scott Bessent: "Two Chinese banks received letters from the U.S. Treasury... If we can prove that there is Iranian money flowing through your accounts then we are willing to put on secondary sanctions."

@LordMVee @shearernorthern So where did the problem children come from in the Labour Party? If the Greens are a relevant political party there will be people placed inside. That's how it works.

@SugarBonk @shearernorthern I see your point but worth remembering that a lot of the vitriol v Corbyn was maintained by a hostile PLP and Labour Together Zionists working from the inside. Greens don't have that problem, so I would expect the hostility to be less as a result.

I don’t think many people realise how desperate the situation is. Labour are sacrificing our democracy for the interests of another country. Vote every single one of the treacherous gits out. They betrayed their party and now the country.

@BoufontZak @YvetteCooperMP There is no difference between the media the politicians and the security services. They are one and the same and employ many of the same people but in different capacities. Expecting the media to speak out about the government is the equivalent of expecticting MI6 to do it.

.@YvetteCooperMP Should be prosecuted under 🇬🇧law for contempt of court for alleging that Palestine Action deliberately targets people with acts of violence. A blatant, proven LIE. Gutless UK media need to speak out!
The Grayzone@TheGrayzoneNews

A shockingly corrupted trial that exposes the British state’s weaponization of censorship and secrecy laws has just begun. The Grayzone's @MaxBlumenthal details how six activists from the direct action protest group Palestine Action face terrorism charges and the possibility of long prison terms – but the jury in the case is forbidden from knowing this. The UK media is similarly banned from reporting on these facts, while the defendants in the case are blocked by court order from explaining their motives for damaging and occupying Israeli weapons factories on British soil. Blumenthal explains why Palestine Action is being targeted with such a draconian prosecution: because they are effective. Having caused the closure of Israeli factories, they have provided activists around the world with a workable model for raising the cost of occupation and genocide. Now, he argues, the British state is so determined to prevent their acquittal before a potentially sympathetic jury that it rigging the trial and perverting whatever's left of democracy, all to preserve its special relationship with Israel.

@Its_ereko Being friends with America is like being in a relationship with a psychopath. You just never know what's coming next. Will they take all your money, lock you out of the house, murder you, rape your children, eat your kids. Anything is possible. We best walk away whilst we can.

The US Treasury Secretary just put it in plain English. We are partnering with Gulf allies. They are sharing Iranian bank accounts. We are reaching out to Chinese banks. Any Iranian goods purchases are forbidden. Secondary sanctions if you don't comply. No more diplomacy. No more negotiations. Just commands. The message to every bank in China, every trader in Dubai, every government from Jakarta to Caracas is simple: stop doing business with Iran or we cut you off from the dollar. But here's what Washington doesn't understand. The more they threaten, the faster the world builds alternatives. China already has CIPS. Russia has SPFS. The BRICS are working on a common payment system. Every sanction, every threat, every "secondary sanctions if there's a problem" pushes the global majority one step closer to walking away from the dollar entirely. Washington is winning battles and losing the war.
Clash Report@clashreport

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent: We are partnering with our Gulf allies. They are much more willing to share the bank accounts of members of the Iranian regime. We are reaching out to banks, including Chinese banks. Any Iranian goods purchases are forbidden. We will press for secondary sanctions if there’s a problem.

@Weyoun999 @BvGroat @shearernorthern Who should he have voted for then? The blue puppet or the yellow puppet? There's a video of the head of MI6 leaving the Bilderbeg meeting. Why is she there who controls her? Voting just legitimises the corrupt system and changes nothing because honest candidates aren't allowed.

@prestonjbyrne Can't wait. We should model it on other state broadcasters who seem to know what works best. I'm sure the quality of the content will guarantee 99% of the vote for the government at the next election.

It's been more than 45 days since Iran's internet went dark. And the Iranian regime is burning through MILLIONS per day to keep 92 million people offline. Why spend so much to silence your own country? Because when you control the internet, you control the story. When a government won't let its OWN PEOPLE speak, question the narrative the outside world is hearing.

Food for thought. Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding. No nation stands to gain more from a closure of the Strait of Hormuz than the United States, across the short, medium, and long term. This logic is embedded in President Trump’s National Security Strategy, with the Trump Doctrine now visible in practice. Strategically, China loses on multiple fronts with Hormuz closed: seaborne Middle Eastern supplies are constrained just as Venezuelan crude is increasingly redirected toward the U.S. Gulf Coast on short, politically secure routes. At the same time, the Strait of Malacca, and with it, the broader Malacca Dilemma, moves to the center of gravity. In parallel, the Sunda, Lombok, Makassar, and Mindoro Straits remain critical arteries for Chinese trade and energy flows. Together, they constitute the geographic chokepoints of Beijing’s vulnerability, and Washington is acutely aware of this. Yes, the New Great Game is unfolding, and Wall Street has yet to comprehend the consequences.

@Anthony85807309 @Amockx2022 Spain sells most of it's stuff in Europe not America. If it wants to by say electronics, software, rare earth's from a stable country that doesn't impose 50% tarrifs one day to remove them the following day then moving away from America is a wise move.

@mtmalinen There is no blockade it’s not possible. It would have to be somewhere around 1000 km from the Iranian cost wher theres to much ocean and not enough ships to block them It’s just a narrative to buy time for ground incursion The west still doesn’t understand modern drone warfare

I have watched the maritime map of the Strait for about 10 days and, noting that I am no maritime expert, I've failed to see any difference during the past 18 hours. Iran-flagged ships seem to move in and out of the Sea of Oman like they have till this day. Every ship going through the Strait does it through the Iranian checkpoint between the two islands. There's also the typical (huge) gathering around the UAE port. Where's the blockade?
