Someone please tell me how people are writing journal articles all the time? How are you people doing PhDs? I am about to meet my Maker because my supervisor said he wants my research proposal to be 25 pages. I almost died in January when I worked on a journal article. I pity my friends because it looks like I will be venting, complaining about school every day. My tear ducts are going to be dry by end of June😂😂😭😭

@samkebusiness @emmanuelmapamba In academia, "sibhala sicima and bhala again". That's part of the game! Just accepted, it will frustrate you occasionally, but go out there and enjoy it!

@samkebusiness @emmanuelmapamba Perhaps let us consider first things first. The statement "not for me" triggers a question - can I really do a Masters or a PhD. These programs are about reading and writing, and loads of it! We read, and read, and read again, the same applies to writing!

@citezw Your so-called mischief number is an issue of "politics and leadership". It is interesting that you cite only Africans and not any other mature democracies around the world. It is shameful to stoop so low as Africans!

@pallnandi Have we stooped so low as to be compared to animals? Such glaringly flawed reasoning is dangerous!

Monogamy is a man-made illusion sold as morality. Polygamy is nature. Animals do it. Ancient kings institutionalized it. Entire cultures built legacies on it. But now we shame it while secretly cheating, lying and juggling side pieces, pretending monogamy makes us evolved.

@memorynguwi @memorynguwi the problem may be the dichotomy between strategy formulation and implementation, and hence the Strategy-as-Practice phenomenon, better still, Open Strategy!

Why Strategy Often Dies After Board Approval In most organizations, the CEO and their executive team are tasked with developing the strategy, which the board then approves through a process of validation and endorsement. At that moment, a critical transition is supposed to happen: the move from strategy formulation to execution. But this is where many organizations falter. One of the most tragic—and avoidable—failures I consistently observe is the absence of a robust system for cascading strategy beyond the executive level. Without deliberate translation mechanisms, the strategy remains trapped in the boardroom or, worse, in the CEO’s head. Employees, left disconnected from the strategic agenda, default to the comfort of routine work defined by outdated job descriptions. As a result, the organization continues to move—but not necessarily in the direction the strategy intended. @ipcconsultants
